One of the most beautiful coins ever struck by the U.S. Mint — Adolph Weinman's Walking Liberty design has been turning heads since 1916. This 1936-D comes out of the Denver Mint and carries a solid strike with good detail remaining on Liberty's gown and the eagle's feathers on the reverse. Details: - Date: 1936 - Mint Mark: D (Denver) - Denomination: Half Dollar - Series: Walking Liberty - Silver Content: 90% silver (pre-1965) - Obverse: Liberty striding toward sunrise, draped in the American flag - Reverse: Eagle perched on mountain crag Circulated with moderate wear — high points show expected smoothing, but the design is fully readable and the coin has a nice honest look to it.
