A charming celluloid ramp walker from Edi Puppen, the German toy maker, dating to the 1930s–1950s. The doll has the characteristic molded face with blue eyes and red lips, dressed in a black wool swimsuit with cream trim and black shoes. The mechanism is intact: pull the red string attached to the metal counterweight and the doll walks forward down an incline—a simple but delightful toy engineering from the era.
