Description

A glazed stoneware bed warmer from Pearsons of Chesterfield — the historic British pottery out of Whittington Moor, Derbyshire, active for well over a century. This torpedo-shaped foot warmer has the classic knurled screw cap on top and a rounded grip nub on one end, both intact. The salt-glaze finish is warm cream throughout with good overall gloss. Measures approximately 10 inches long per the tape measure shown. Light surface crazing consistent with age, no chips or cracks visible. A solid, honest example of everyday British domestic stoneware from the 1930s.
