Vintage 9k GOLD Rexall Rx Watch Fob Pocket Knife, Colonial Knife Co., 1940s
Anti-snipe: bids in the final 2 minutes push the deadline back by 2 minutes — no last-second wins.
A tiny piece of pharmacy history — a 2-inch lobster-pattern gentleman's watch fob knife made by Colonial Knife Company of Providence, RI, circa 1940s–1950s. The brass scales are machine-stamped with a hammered center panel and a Greek Key border, with a raised Rx Rexall medallion set into the lower bolster. Two blades — a small pen blade and a pick — both open and close with good action. A bail at the top for fob attachment is intact. Light age patina on the brass, as expected for something this old; blades show minor surface wear but no heavy pitting. A sharp little promotional piece for the knife collector or pharmacy memorabilia enthusiast. The Hallmark's... This vintage British watch fob pocket knife is crafted from 9-karat gold shell, officially certified with a purity stamp of "9" and ".375." The piece features the prestigious anchor symbol of the Birmingham Assay Office alongside the lowercase letter "a," dating its official hallmark registration to the year 1975. Submitted by the registered manufacturing jeweler under the sponsor mark "B&S," this unique piece perfectly combines fine English jewelry craftsmanship with functional stainless steel pocket blades.
