The first-year Kennedy half — struck just months after the assassination and pulled from circulation almost immediately by a public that wanted to hold onto them. This one came through in nice shape. Details: - Date: 1964 - Mint mark: Philadelphia (no mint mark) - Denomination: Half Dollar - Series: Kennedy Half Dollar (first year of issue) - Composition: 90% silver, 10% copper - Designer: Gilroy Roberts (obverse) / Frank Gasparro (reverse) — "FG" visible on reverse Circulated with light wear; details remain sharp, luster still present in the fields. A solid example of a coin people genuinely love to own.
